The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030.

The MSC Fisheries Certification We has acquired is the Blue Mark that Protect for the Ocean.
This Mark is Proof that Certified Fisheries meet the Best International Fishing Standards in Terms of Sustainable Fishing.
By Fishing with Our Traditional Fishing Method of “Pole and Line”.
We are able to continue Fishing for a long time in a Resource-Friendly Way that takes into Consideration the Impact on the Ecosystem.
We supply “Reliable and Safe Products of the Sea” to people all over the Japan by the Consistent Production of Fishing, Storage, Processing and Selling.
We will continue to contribute to the Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Activities based on Corporate Philosophy to become a Sustainable Company in a wider Field.

◎Now…

We are promoting Sustainable Fishing centered on the Traditional Japanese Fishing Method “Pole and Line”
In 2016, we acquired MSC Fisheries Certification for our Three Frozen Pole and Line vessels.
We are catching Skipjack and Albacore Tuna while considering Marine Resources to prevent By-Catch and Overfishing. 
In Addition, the Head Office Factory acquire MSC Fisheries Certification and CoC Certification.
We Stably Supply Marine Products all over the Japan under a System that controls everything from Fishing to Processing and Distribution.

◎After…
On the other hand, the need for MSC Fisheries Certification Marine Products has not yet penetrated under the Current Situation in Japan.
Therefore, we have to communicate the need for Certified Marine Products (Sustainable Marine Products) that have been caught in Consideration of Marine Resources so that they will be recognized throughout Japan.
In Addition, we are focusing on the Export Business.
We acquired EU HACCP, Registered HACCP concerning the United States, and Registered FSSC 22000 at Head Office Factory in 2021.
In the Future, we would like to supply Sustainable Marine Products to the World.

We periodically conduct Interviews and Health Surveys with Each of Employee.
In Addition, we hold a Meeting with the Person in Charge of Each Department once a Month.
This allows us to quickly recognize Problems that are occurring the Workplace, Come Up with Solutions to address them, and review and resolve the Working Environment.

 

◎After…

We will develop New Products to meet the Needs of Domestic Markets and Global Markets, and review our Systems for Working Environment and Working Condition. 
We will make an effort as a Company to establish Technologies and Systems that meet the Needs of the Times and to promote Sustainable Development.
We will continue to make improvements as a Company so that we create a Workplace where Each and Every Employee can think Independently and reflect their Opinions.

Our company has Various Departments (Fish Department, Sales Department, Processing Department, Quality & Sanitary Control Department). In each Department, Various Peoples of All Ages, Genders, and Nationalities are working and playing an Active Role. 
In Addition, we focus on fostering New Fisherman and Seafood Processors, and we have an Environment where people in their 20s and 30s can acquire Skills and an Active Role.

In these days when It is Various Information and Overflows, we would like to further foster our Employees adopting Appropriate Information and Ideas that fit the Times and establishing New Systems and Rules.
We will also establish a Working Environment for Women so that they can work with Peace and Mind.

We Regularly conduct Interviews and Mental and Physical Health Surveys of All Employee to ensure that they feel Safe and Secure in their Work Environment.
We also provide Housing Facilities followed the Rules for Trainees.

Through Health Surveys and Interviews, we will visualize the Working Environment and strive to eradicate Various Forms of Harassment and Forced Labor in the Workplace.
In Addition, we will dispose of Wastewater and Garbage from Factory and Vessels in Accordance with the Rules.  
Through this Initiative, Conduct Production Activities in Consideration of the Environment in Neighboring Area of the Head Office Factory.
